The Fairy Tale of the Little Goose Girl is one of trials, adversity and good defeating evil. She is  carved from solid maple with 13 moveable ball and spring joints. Her face is exquisitely hand painted and her custom styled Mohair wig is tied at the back with a period "snood" over her bun. Her ensemble consists of handmade shoes and a pale yellow dupioni silk dress with a gorgeous silk jacquard apron in pale blue and grey. She also comes accompanied by a goose companion for her to chase after! Included is a 20" X 24" printed backdrop of our artist's original painting depicting a pastoral scene of several geese on a winding country road.
